  1. Sponsorship and Eligibility This promotion is sponsored by The Doors Music Company ("SPONSOR"), located at 8899 Beverly Blvd, Suite 812 West Hollywood, CA 90048. There is no purchase necessary to participate. There is no financial compensation for doing so. By submitting your photo, you agree that you own all rights to the photo, and approve of the use by The Doors Music Company of this photo for the purposes of this promotion, display on social media networks and website properties including, but not limited to www.thedoors.com, www.facebook.com, www.twitter.com, www.tumblr.com, www.myspace.com, and any other web property generally defined as a “social network.” Furthermore, you agree to allow the usage of this photograph in a photomosaic and other derivative works which the promotion is intended to produce. By accepting these terms, you agree to relinquish the rights to any financial profit or gain generated from the sale or exploitation of the photomosaic or other visual generated from submission of your photo

  2. Qualification Period The qualification period for entry of the promotion begins on April 17, 2013 and ends at 12:00 PM PDT September 30, 2013. SPONSOR in its sole discretion may extend either of these dates without notice.

  3. Entry Procedures How to Enter: All fans are welcome to enter the contest by submitting a photo of themselves recreating Jim’s famous pose. No purchase is required. The collection of photos will then be used to create a photomosaic of fans as the elements to recreate the recognizable image of Jim. This photomosaic will be reproduced as a poster and available for purchase in the Doors Store at www.thedoors.com. Participants in this promotion relinquish all rights to gain financially from their photograph if it is selected to be part of the photomosaic. The Doors Music Co. does not guarantee that all photographs submitted will be used in the final product. Use of each photograph will be up to the discretion of The Doors Music Company.

  4. Duties of Participants; Limitation of Liability By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of SPONSOR, which shall be final. All international, federal, state, and local laws apply. SPONSOR and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and representatives of SPONSOR, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisers are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of SPONSOR that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted; (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from participation in the promotion; or (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest.

  5. Violation of Contest Rules SPONSOR reserves the right to disqualify any participant or PARTICIPANT who, in its sole discretion and determination, tampers with the entry process, violates these rules or the Site Terms and Conditions, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. SPONSOR reserves the right to monitor referral accounts and activity to ensure authenticity of said accounts.

  6. Description of Promotion The Doors Music Company is presenting an opportunity to recreate the iconic “Young Lion” photograph of Jim Morrison, originally taken by Joel Brodsky in 1967 and appearing originally in 16 Magazine as a photomosaic of Doors fans recreating the immortal pose. All fans are welcome to enter the contest by submitting a photo of themselves recreating Jim’s famous pose. No purchase is required.   7. NO SUBSTITUTION, TRANSFER, ASSIGNMENT OR CASH EQUIVALENT OR ANY PORTION THEREOF PERMITTED FOR THE USE OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS. THE PHOTOGRAPHS BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE DOORS MUSIC COMPANY FOR PURPOSES OF THIS PROMOTION.

  8. Permissions Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use participants' names, hometowns and likenesses for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Participants may also be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility and, where lawful, publicity consent agreement, as conditions of receiving a prize. Failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions shall be grounds for forfeiture of a prize.

  9. No Liability SPONSOR and its employees, agents, representatives, promotional agencies and assignees shall not be responsible in any way for loss or damage arising from the use of or, bear any liability whatsoever in any way attributable to, the prize awarded in this contest or the entry by a contestant herein. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, SPONSOR assumes no responsibility or liability for any risk or dangers associated with the acceptance or use of the prize awarded as part of this contest or any liability associated with online or electronic entries, and expressly disclaims liability from loss or damage to a contestant's computer system howsoever caused arising from bugs, viruses or technical failures in any way associated with or arising from, online or electronic entries.

  10. Applicable Laws This contest is subject to all applicable, federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and any dispute relating hereto will be determined by a New York court applying New York law as applicable therein. Any such action shall be governed by the law of the state of such venue, without regard to any conflicts of law provisions that might serve to refer the action to the law of another jurisdiction. The parties shall use reasonable efforts to resolve any differences arising between them as a result of this Agreement prior to exercising their respective rights at law or equity, which may include mediation. "Mediation" is a process in which parties attempt to resolve any dispute by submitting to an impartial mediator who facilitates the resolution of the dispute but who is not empowered to impose a settlement on the parties. Mediation will be in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") or other mediator agreed on in writing by the parties.

  11. General Terms: Noncompliance with any of these Official Rules may result in disqualification. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY PARTICIPANT OR ANY BEHAVIOR BY ANY PARTICIPANT THAT WILL BRING SUCH PARTICIPANT OR SPONSOR INTO DISREPUTE (IN SPONSOR ENTITIES' SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH PARTICIPANT'S DISQUALIFICATION AS THE PARTICIPANT OF THE CONTEST AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS THE PARTICIPANT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED WITHOUT ANY FURTHER NOTICE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPANT.

  12. Errors and Omissions Excepted SPONSOR is not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors and may, in its discretion, withdraw cancel and terminate this contest without obligation if it is found to contain any such error, or for any reason, without liability to anyone whatsoever.
