Join us for a conversation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) with John Densmore and Robby Krieger. The event also includes a screening of Mr. Mojo Risin’: The Making of L.A. Woman
December 5, 7:30 p.m.
The beautiful Bing Theater at LACMA will host the evening, which will feature a screening of Mr. Mojo Risin: The Making of L.A. Woman, which looks at the creation of The Doors' sixth album. Mr. Mojo Risin’ offers a detailed perspective of the intense recording sessions that produced one of the Doors most memorable collections, a album that included the songs “Love Her Madly” and “Riders on the Storm.” Also part of the screening are clips of the Doors in performance.
To commemorate the screening of the documentary—on an evening three days before Jim Morrison’s birthday — the two surviving members of the Doors, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore, make a rare joint appearance at the Bing to discuss the band’s legacy and their own careers.
