Show Notes:

Phoenix, Ariz - AP - Arizona state officials Friday blacklisted the Doors, a rock singing group because its members almost caused a riot with alleged obscene remarks and gestures.

Dick Smith, vice-chairman of the state fair board sait the group "wont be back here - they certainly shouldn't be in our building."

At lease seven persons were detained buy the police Thursday night from among 10,000 persons, mostly teen agers, who attended a performance by the group. Captain Bill Foster of the state highway patrol said singer Jim Morrison encouraged the the near riot when he invited teen agers to leave their seats. The result was a shoving and milling crowd which had to be ejected by security police.
