While on assignment for a little start-up magazine called Crawdaddy, seventeen year old photographer Peter Simon was sent to a club in Brighton, MA called "The Crosstown Bus" to shoot a new band called The Doors. These are the results of that shoot. Big thanks to Peter for allowing us to share these photos with the fans. You can purchase prints as well as Peter's book "I and Eye" on his website, www.petersimon.com.

The photographer, Peter Simon, is the brother of Carly Simon. His work was well known aroung Boston at the time of that concert.

photographer Peter Simon had this to say about that night:

"...there I was, just innocently shooting away....then Morrison started swaying around the mike and we thought he would fall. Instead, he threw up. Some of it came flying my way....and it got over my camera and lens. As I started rushing to the bathroom to clean it off, several fans stopped me and asked if I could "share" some of his puke. At that point I realized how crazed his fans really were! The rest of the night went without incident. The 'vomit' shot appears in my book, "I and Eye."

Hey Giza. As you can see above, this post and the photos are tagged both "Community" and "Crosstown Bus". Although this shows up in the community with everything else, it also shows up on the Crosstown Bus page, so it is on context already. As we get more content, we will be thinking of more ways to make it easy to navigate, browse and find things. Good feedback and comments on the gallery.
