I looked at the art and read the lyrics and have listened to The End. Death is a frightening uninvited guest you've brought to bed.
Trey...To really appreciate the artwork that I chose to illustrate the quote, you have to listen to, or better yet read the words of "The End."
The song (or rather the musicalized poem) tells the tale that some galleon (presumably a Spanish one) had to throw away the horses that were carried aboard during a storm in order to release some weight and avoid sinking.
Probably seen from the horses' vantage point...
Why would horses be jettisoned off ship? I don't get that one.
The second one is depressing or for more the artwork.
