Just wanted to share something ! I saved a newsletter from Danny Sugerman from The Door's office in Beverly Hills that was posted 21 years ago today ! He shared Door's info plus told about another Door's movie in the works to be titled " Wonderland Avenue". It's such a nice note and he signed it at the end. I don't have any of the Door's autographs but I feel privileged to have their friend Danny's autograph. Thank you Danny for this newsletter from March 15, 1991 !

Yeah, that's right he was a dirty hairy 1970s pornstar who was addicted to heroin and cocaine. I guess the people robbed him of money and drugs so he killed them. If he would have beat them up I'd understand but to crush their heads in with a hammer? That's over the top! I believe the murders were July 1st 1981.

You know, I didn't know Danny died young till a couple years ago. That's a shame ! ( I think I remember that murder you are talking about now. John Holmes was a porn star ,I think. That was quite a gruesome crime, no doubt. )

It's very unfortunate Mr. Sugarman died or else his movie idea might have happened. Yeah, horrible murder by John Holmes I think? These people ripped him off so he and his buddies beat their heads in with hammers, what a horrible way to be murdered! One person survived. The first body was maying next to a stereo speaker and records on the floor against the wall. Blood was splattered all over the wall and records and I think I could see the edge of The Doors Greatest Hits 1980 record among them...

Hi Trey ! No, Wonderland Avenue was going to be about Jim Morrison. I get the impression from Danny's comments that he was not happy about Oliver Stone's movie about Jim. He felt Jim was a more intelligent and compassionate person than the portrayal of him in Oliver's movie.

Is that movie about that horrific murder in 1981?
