I suspect that a lot of fans of the Doors would in all likelihood not be as fervent were it not for Jim Morrison, and I would honestly put myself in that group. That being said, I present for your listening pleasure "Ship W/Sails" which is without a doubt one of my favorite post-Morrison Doors track. Enjoy!

Yes I've heard they were near my area not long ago I was unhappy when I heard of it from my friend who introduced me to The Doors. He didn't go either so I guess it's ok if he went I'd be pissed off!

They haven't toured for several years now, and the last time that they did it was as "The Doors of the 21st Century." They do venture out on their own every once in awhile however...

I'm a fan of The Doors because The Doors are awesome!
Jim Morrison or without Jim Morrison. Do they still tour?

I wholeheartedly agree that this album was a departure for the Doors (as was Soft Parade) but there were several songs on Other Voices that were close to being worthy of the Doors of old. For example: Tightrope Ride, In the Eye of the Sun, Hang On To Your Life...And let's not forget that Paul Rothschild was so bored with one particular album that he walked out of the studio. That album? "L.A. Woman."

other voices seems a departure of what made them the DOORS. They seemed to of lost their way. The albums before were dark and edgy. Other Voices is not in that category imo
