hey guys check this out!!
jlo- Thanks for that website. Nice to see things explained and that I saw Jim walk on the ledge. A shame there was no lights.
no problem queenhwy! the pictures on the website are awesome!
Cool find Jlo. I have a rough copy of HWY. It is so dark at the end you can barely see Jim Morrison walking on the ledge. It was awesome to see the outtakes on When You're Strange! I love Jim Morrison driving down the 10-West!
you may want to check this website out:http://www.thedoorsguide.com/film/hwy.html
and, paul ferrarra's autobiography, flash of eden, goes into the making of hwy, in depth.
Looked more like Jim walking in front of the city lights. As I said the film quality leaves much to be desired. Funny I read Jim spent well over 6 figures for the movie HWY
i am GUESSING those flashes are someone taking photos of either him or the street below...
Oh Yes I see an image of a man. Looks higher then the floor. So let me get this straight. Jim does a death defying ledge walk. And no one brings a light? You have to admit it is pretty underwhelming in the dark. A small light would of made it electric. The quality of the film is poor. Lighting was poor. 16 mm was poor. Jim should of went for the 35mm film. The content of the film was interesting though. It had all the element of LA woman, Riders of the storm, The End. Like all of Jim's creations. It makes you think.
Thank you for pointing it out and bringing the link here
right at 3 minutes look and you see him
you can see the ledge and him walking on it watch it a few times...before the flashes of light
Very interesting but all I am seeing is darkness. I see the part where Jim is in the elevator. I assume going to the rooftop. I looked at the point of the film you said. I just see darkness. I do not see Jim walking the ledge. I did see some lights flashing. Is that Jim walking in front of the lights?
Michael678, Would you have a link to the original hwy? I would like to see the ledge walking
manhime there are 2 versions of this movie: the original and the remake, from 1969 and 1990, respectively i bet that's why that is
I read in HWY that Jim walked on the ledge of a hotel. I never understood why I can not find it in the film? Anyone?
