Hello, My name is Paul, and I've written something of a tribute to John and the rest of The Doors. I'm very proud of the piece and am hoping that you'd be interested in reading it. It pretty much summarizes everything that the band has taught me, especially about integrity. Please read the piece and provide me with feedback if you have time! I want to know more about other Doors' fans and what the band means to them. Thanks! http://caughtinthecarousel.com/the-drummers-dilemma-john-densmore-integrity-and-the-doors-unhinged/

Excellent piece! REM was also one of my fav's - the early years. John always struck me as being a man of integrity. He wanted to quit the touring because of Jim's drinking. Ray was all about the money. Robbie was like a follower. I was deeply disappointed in how they turned their visit to Jim's grave as a spectacle. I lost respect for those two as visiting a grave is sacred and they turned it into a circus!
