First you must understand that I am only speaking for myself, but the John Densmore appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show last night was, for me, a huge letdown. He was allocated a mere 5 minutes at the tail end of the show, during which there was a lot of mention and a replay of Fallon's parody of Morrison, but nothing really in depth about John's new book. I was heartened to hear that the Doors were, to quote John, "back on the hinges" and could possibly regroup for a benefit type concert in the future. My other gripe was that they brought in a set of drums, and John led the band into "Roadhouse Blues" and the network went to commercial after the 1st verse! Oh, well.
