Doors vinyl LP rarity: Hello: I have the post-Morrison Doors album "Full Circle" - original gatefold issue. Side 2 of the LP has an Elektra label (with butterfly, "Elektra", and correct background), but no Band or tracklist - it's essentially blank. Clearly an error, and I would think a rarity. Would appreciate any info as to whether this rarity is documented (yet). I'm in contact with another site that believes this may be a one-of-a-kind rarity. I will get a YouTube video up of the two sides; I may be listing on eBay. Cover is a strong VG++, and record is NM.

I acctually kind of like Full Circle 1972 a little more than Other Voices 1971. The Doors could still tour with Ray and Robbie as vocalists. They would still very much be The Doors from Venice Beach!

I agree Trey. But sadly, the music on this album was a HUGE letdown, even worse than "Other Voices."

The music is the most important thing. Money isn't important.

Gatefold sleeve. The unscathed cover has two extra pages attached, that you can cut and paste into a ''zoetrope''. The result of your industriousness will be a wheel that you can put on your turntable to produce the effect of a human being running through the circle of life.

What you possess is nothing more than a print error, and while uncommon, is not unheard of. What would, however warrant hefty dollars is the fact that you have the original gate-fold album cover. And if this cover still has the zoetrope attached, you sir, are sitting on a gold mine. The last time that I looked, the original album cover for "L.A.Woman" was fetching $90. - $125.00. A copy of "Full Circle" complete wit zoetrope could well bring $40.- $60.00. The blank label, not a big selling point on its' own.
