Bill Graham Presents... March 22,1968 Fillmore East Poster
SETLIST: EARLY SHOW (INCOMPLETE)
I got this from another site, I don't remember the setlist, I do remember the "unknown soldier" video and that "when the musics over" was the first song.
I was in another world, 16 years old, and just thrilled to be there
When The Music's Over
Back Door Man
Break On Through
Light My Fire
The Unknown Soldier
What was the setlist? that night.
At the Billboards show the other night. There was a Michael Jackson Hologram. Same as the Tupac hologram.
What would you think of a Jim Morrison Hologram?
I would of went to see Jim and the living Doors. Now that Ray died I guess that thought is over
we had the 5$ orchestra seats. It was the Saturday early show. Thje show began with ray Robbie & john vamping :when the musics over" for quite a while, finally from stage right there was a shriek and Morrison entered in mid air sideways screaming YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH holding the mic in one hand and wearing that leather hat.
That was my introduction to live music, and the doors, and fillmore east all at once. The show was phenomenal, stunning, we were all straight and were completely blown away. I wish I would have been knowledgeable and old enough to go to the late show, THAT setlist is crazy.
What seats did you have? $3, $4, $5
I would of splurged for the $5 lol
Wow that must of been fun. What are your thoughts? How did it rate with their 1967 shows?
I was at the early show, Saturday, it was my first concert. I have a copy of that little bill that was placed on each seat, just like your image above
